How much do I actually need?

How exact do my numbers need to be?

Not very β€” this is a free estimate, not a bill, and no payment is taken online. Give it your best guess; if you’re unsure or it’s an odd-shaped space, we’ll dial it in together when we talk and confirm pricing, delivery and scheduling.

Tip: 2–3 inches of bark is the sweet spot for weed suppression without smothering roots.

How much mulch or soil do I need?

A good rule of thumb: one cubic yard covers about 100 square feet at 3 inches deep. Not sure? Our coverage calculator gives you the yards and a ballpark price in seconds β€” or just call and we’ll size it with you.

What makes your bark mulch “clean”?

Our bark is real fir and hemlock bark β€” a by-product of local sawmills, with under 15% wood content, the way the Mulch & Soil Council defines true bark mulch. No construction debris, no mystery fill.

Do you deliver to my town?

We deliver across Snohomish and North King County β€” Snohomish, Everett, Bothell, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Mukilteo, Monroe, Lake Stevens, Marysville and Mountlake Terrace. Outside that? Give us a call and we’ll let you know.

Is there a minimum order or a delivery fee?

We sell by the cubic yard and deliver any size load. Delivery fees and any minimums depend on your service area β€” we’ll quote it honestly when you call or request an estimate.

Can I pick up instead of having it delivered?

Yes. Pickup is by appointment at our Snohomish yard β€” please call ahead so we can have your order ready when you arrive.

How deep should I apply bark mulch?

Two to three inches is the sweet spot β€” enough to suppress weeds and hold moisture without smothering roots.

How do I know I’m getting a full yard?

Every load is measured at the truck. A full cubic yard is a full cubic yard β€” no short loads.
